Today inside the home of Premier League outfit Everton, stars of TV and the music industry, as well as a clutch of ex-footballers played out 90 minutes in a light-hearted atmosphere.
Jamie O’Hara, once of Tottenham and Wolves, ensured he left all those watching remember his talents are very much still there as he bagged a hat-trick.
With barely 15 minutes on the clock, O’Hara had put his own stamp on the charity game with a brace.
He netted his hat trick in the 2nd half to make it 5 – 1 and was given the man of the match award at the end, which to be fair to all the players, they all deserved the award, as they entertained the thousands who turned up to support this very good cause. The final score of 7-3 didn’t matter in the end as the crowd of over 15,000 raised money for the Bradley lowery foundation and Everton in the community.
