Trattoria 51 has once again joined forces with Big Comedy UK for this year’s Southport Comedy Festival.

After enjoying sell-out success at past events, the Italian eatery located at 51 Promenade, is set to host a night of stand-up accompanied by a two-course feast on Monday, October 8.

Guests will be in for a ‘whole lot of laughter’ courtesy of host Brendan Riley and comedy performances from the likes of Martyn James and Allyson June Smith.

Restaurateur Attilio Sergi said: “Every year we have a fantastic time taking part in the Southport Comedy Festival and we’re looking forward to doing it all over again on October 8. Once again, a whole host of talented and side-splitting performers will be taking over the restaurant for an unforgettable evening.

“Last year’s event was an incredible success and it’s something that we look forward to every autumn. Trattoria 51’s involvement with the festival was a sell-out in 2017 and it’s looking to be a huge hit again this year. It’s fantastic to welcome the people of Southport and those that travel from further afield especially for the occasion to enjoy an evening filled with food, fun and fits of laughter.”

Southport Comedy Festival is organised and ran by Big Comedy UK, which is responsible for some of the finest comedy nights in the UK.

Attilio added: “When we’ve collaborated with Big Comedy UK in the past we’ve always had a great deal of fun both behind the scenes and on the night itself and often end up in stitches of laughter ourselves – we can guarantee that our guests on the night are in for a real treat.”

The event will take place on Monday, October 8 from 6:30pm at 51 Promenade, Southport. Tickets include a live comedy show together with a two-course meal and are priced at £20.
